July 4th Campout (online this year)
July 3-6, 2020
Due to the coronavirus situation, we will have a virtual campout rather than an in-person one on July 4 weekend. We’ll post more details as they become available.
Here’s what our schedule of events will look like for that weekend.
(1) We will have a Virtual Pot Luck on Friday, July 3 from 6 – 8 pm. This will give us a chance
to socialize with each other while bringing our own food and drink to our own tables. We’ll
take turns checking in with each other and if there’s time left, a few folks could share a couple
of songs.
(2) We will have four workshops each day on Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th. They
will be at the following times:
Workshop I – 11:00 am to noon
Workshop II – 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Workshop III – 2:00 pm – 3 pm
Workshop IV – 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
If you are interested in leading a workshop, send the title to Hali at halih@yahoo.com
including your preference for date and time (or no preference if you could do your workshop
any time). If you know that you’ll have a time or date constraint, let her know that as well so
she can attempt to accommodate you. First come, first served on time preference.
(3) We will have an open mic both Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th starting at 6 pm. 12
slots per day, two songs or 10 minutes max. Please only sign up for either Saturday or Sunday
so we can have as many people sharing as possible. Once again, email halih@yahoo.com for
the open mics.
(4) Keep checking this site for updates on the campout and our virtual events.
We had a great time at our last-minute virtual Memorial Day Camp. With more lead time, we
can do even better. See you at camp, even if it’s virtual!
